8.9 company (2005)

7. Roadblock (1998)

6. Breakthrough (2005)
The film Vitaly Lukin takes place in Chechnya in the early 2000s. Numerous anti-terrorist operations are carried out on its territory.
Russian fighters comb square by square, trying to detect enemy units. In the Argun Gorge, one of the groups discovers enemies and enters the battle. But this is only the beginning.
A huge group, which numbers a couple of thousand people, is moving just to the gorge, a weak spot, hoping to break into the territory of Dagestan here. Along the way, they expect to capture as many hostages and weapons as possible.

The plot focuses on a Chechen boy who lost all his relatives during the Chechen campaign. The girl, working for a non-governmental organization, was imbued with sympathy and is trying to arrange his fate, despite all the difficulties.
4. Olympius Inferno (2009)
August 8, 2008, the date when Georgian troops attacked South Ossetia. "Olympius Inferno"- the first film dedicated to this conflict.
Not only soldiers suffered from military operations, but also completely peaceful people. For example, entomologist Michael, who arrived from America, and his Russian girlfriend Eugene.
They had a harmless idea: to make a film about a rare species of butterflies. But instead, they captured the entry of Georgian troops into South Ossetia.

Having received a painful refusal, the policeman is not going to give up and is ready to do anything to destroy the enemy and get the girl, by her will or against. His opponent served as a sniper at the front, which does not simplify the task.
2. Caucasian captive (1996)
The basis of his film “Prisoner of the Caucasus”Bodrov took the classic story of Leo Tolstoy, transferring events from the 19th century during the First Chechen War. Many peoples were drawn into the conflict, and not everyone wanted to fight.
Two Russian servicemen, Alexander and Ivan, are captured by Abdul-Murat. He saved the men who were in a deplorable state, and rendered them all possible assistance.
Abdul-Murat lives in a mountain aul, and his family has his own grief: his son is held captive by the Russians. He plans to organize an exchange. Feelings interfere in the story: the daughter of Abdul-Murat realized that she felt sympathy for the Russian guy.
1. The Captive (2008)
The film by Alexei Uchitel is dedicated to the war in Chechnya as a whole and the fate of individuals in particular. The director allows you to deeply penetrate the history of heroes, feel their feelings, the depth of suffering.
In the center of the plot are two Russian servicemen. The column was stuck in the gorge, and they were sent to find a guide.
The lieutenant colonel of the nearest part, to which the soldiers reached, refused to help, and they had to look for the prisoner themselves. It turned out to be a young Chechen sniper.
Two are escorts, one is captive. They are on different sides of the barricades, they have nothing in common. But suddenly it turns out that the bullets are equally killing from all sides, and the enemies have much more common experiences than they would like.
This is a story about deep human experiences, measured, unhurried, deep, in the spirit of the author's cinema.
